Volume Loss
Volume loss treatments are non-surgical aesthetic treatments designed to support facial balance, structure, hydration, definition, and overall rejuvenation. As collagen, elastin, and naturally occurring hyaluronic acid production decreases over time, these treatments may assist in restoring volume, softening the appearance of lines, and enhancing facial harmony while maintaining natural-looking results.
Treatment longevity varies depending on the area treated, individual metabolism, lifestyle factors, and the type of product used. Results may last anywhere from approximately 6 months to 2 years.
Results are typically visible immediately following treatment. Mild swelling, redness, or bruising may occur and can take up to two weeks to settle. Final results generally continue to soften and integrate within the tissue over several weeks.
A medical-grade topical anaesthetic is applied prior to treatment to maximise comfort. The products used also contain local anaesthetic to help ensure the treatment remains tolerable throughout the procedure. Individual pain tolerance may vary from person to person.
If you have a special event or occasion approaching, we generally recommend booking your appointment at least four weeks in advance. This allows time for any swelling or bruising to settle and ensures optimal healing prior to your event.
Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, or bruising may occur following treatment. These effects are generally mild and typically resolve within several days to two weeks. Following aftercare instructions carefully may assist in minimising downtime and supporting optimal healing.
We advise to avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol consumption, and makeup application for 24 hours following treatment.
